History

Renu Oven Cleaning began trading as a family run business in April 2004 offering a service for cleaning Ovens, Hobs, Extractor Units, Aga’s and Commercial cooking appliances in and around the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire and North Leicestershire areas. Operating from one van we steadily built up a loyal customer base from referrals and repeat bookings along side on going marketing, and have since cleaned thousands of appliances with as many satisfied customers. Right from the beginning we wanted to establish a professional service, so we accredited the company with membership of the TAAOC The Association of Approved Oven Cleaners. This is to date, the only association of its kind and establishes certain regulations for it’s members.

1. To use a safe efficient cleaning system which does not use any toxic or corrosive chemicals in house,
2. To leave no lingering odours after the job is complete and to enable the appliances to be used straight away so their is minimal downtime
3. Always leave the work areas clean and tidy afterwards.
4. To carry a fully comprehensive insurance policy.

In June 2010 we added another vehicle, employed and trained another operative to cope with the added work load and became a limited company, Renu Oven Cleaning Limited .

At the start of 2011, via the TAAOC, we acquired a contract to clean cooking appliances in turn increasing the work load. Going forward we continue to provide the best service in the area at very competitive prices which we monitor on a regular basis, in fact we have only increased our prices once in seven years, mainly to cover the cost of fuel rises. It’s always our intention to buy products and supplies at the lowest price available, enabling us to keep costs down. We now focus more on the domestic side of the business, but are still happy to quote for commercial work, providing it is within our capabilities to carry out the work to the same high standard. For major kitchen renovation we suggest using specialist companies to carry out this work. At sometime in the near future we will be introducing a support service for commercial kitchens watch this space. As of March 2011 we became a member of the Derbyshire Trusted Trader Scheme.
